Samsung E250

The Samsung E250 can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides tri-band connectivity (900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz). Powered by GPRS/EDGE Class 10 (Enhanced Data for Global Evolution) technology, this Samsung phone makes information exchange a breeze by offering immediate mobile connectivity. It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider.

This compact handset offers a large 2-inch LCD screen (with a 128 x 160-pixel resolution and support for 65K colors), which makes it easy to view the text, photo, and video caller ID capability. The phone will hold up to 1000 contact entries and it features a call list that remembers your 30 most recent missed, received and dialed calls. In addition to a vibrating alert, the phone supports polyphonic and MP3 ringtones.

The unique UMenu feature gives you one-click access for a personalized selection of your most frequently used phone functions. Just click on the top button of the navigation scroll to recall these functions or modify them when your priority change. The uTrack function significantly increases your chances of recovering a lost or stolen phone by sending an SMS message to a pre-designated number to alert you of when your mobile's SIM card is changed as well as its location. This helpful feature enables you to keep track of your mobile, even when it is no longer in your possession.

The Samsung E250 has all the bases covered when it comes to messaging. Support is built in for sending and receiving text, video, graphics and sound via messages. It also enables you to check your email on the go (supporting POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP protocols). T9 text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit - a plus for mobile text messaging users.

This Samsung E250 cell phone provides Bluetooth version 2.0 wireless connectivity, and includes profiles for communication headset, handsfree car kits, audio/video remote control, and printing. You can connect your laptop (either via Bluetooth or wired USB) and enjoy dial-up networking (DUN) - surf the Internet, send email, and access files from a server. And with the A2DP Bluetooth profile, you can stream your music to a pair of compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones.
